Newsweek Recognizes Laguna’s Quality Program
Newsweek’s list of America’s Best Addiction Treatment Centers 2022 highlights the nation’s top facilities based on criteria that include: quality of service, reputation, and accreditation relative to in-state competition. The list was made in partnership with Statista Inc., a research firm. This is the third year Laguna Treatment Hospital has made the list. This recognition reflects Laguna’s ongoing commitment to providing quality care for those struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders.
Treatment centers on Newsweek’s list were evaluated by:
- Recommendations from peers: Thousands of medical experts (therapists, counselors, medical doctors, administration, and staff working in addiction treatment facilities) were invited to participate in an online peer-to-peer survey about treatment programs.
- Quality Score: Participants were also asked to rank the quality dimensions which influence the quality of rehabilitation facilities.
- Accreditation Score: Accreditation information was pulled from data provided by The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
